Your planned day, as the place you work from
Once a day is planned, you still need somewhere to actually run it from — without that view disappearing or forcing you into a separate “focus mode” screen.
How it works in ka-do
Focus is the day timeline itself — the same view you used to plan, now showing today's placed tasks and meetings in time order as you work through them. It keeps flagging energy mismatches as the day moves, so a task that no longer fits the moment stands out.
If something slips — a meeting runs long, a task takes longer than planned — the day-repair panel lists what got displaced, and you decide what happens to each one. Nothing is rearranged for you automatically.
Focus is included on both Free and Pro.
What it doesn't do
- It isn't a single-task, distraction-blocking timer or a Pomodoro-style countdown — there's no separate “focus session” screen.
- It doesn't automatically re-arrange your day when something slips — you fix it yourself through the day-repair panel's manual actions.
- It's the same surface as Daily planning, viewed as the day unfolds rather than while you're laying it out — not a second, different planning tool.
